Dear Alan and Pip:

Just a few lines to wish you both a happy new year and lots of success and tunes for 1953.

We're moving on the 30th december to our new home, and we only wish that you could some time, if possible, come and pay us a visit.

Things are exactly as before! It's really desperate, and there's no hope of changes! We'll see how it all ends, if it ever ends!
