Z1932 Schindler
We are in the process of incorporating to this Fondo de Música Tradicional IMF-CSIC the pieces collected by Kurt Schindler in Spain (1929, 1930-31, 1932-33), which were published posthumously in Folk Music and Poetry of Spain and Portugal. Música y poesía popular de España y Portugal (Nueva York: Hispanic Institute in the United States, 1941); see also a recent facsimile edition of Schindler's volume, with studies by Israel Katz and Miguel Manzano Alonso, published in 1991 by the Centro de Cultural Tradicional of the Diputación de Salamanca.
